Social Security Number Verification
The first search performed when conducting a background check is a Social Security Number (SSN) check. The SSN check provides vital information for revealing an applicant’s possible criminal record. The SSN check reports the applicant's name related to the provided Social Security number as reported by the Social Security Administration and the three credit bureaus. Report information may include, but is not limited to; current and former address history, applicant's age and/or date of birth, and applicant's county of residence.
Criminal Super Search
The Criminal Super Search instantly produces a multi-state report of criminal records. The report can contain the following information; felony and misdemeanor records, sex-offender records, inmate records, and arrest information.
Nationwide Sex Offender Registry
The National Sex Offender Registry search includes sex-offender records provided by each state including the District of Columbia.
Statewide Criminal Comprehensive Reports
Statewide Criminal Comprehensive Reports combine multiple sources of information in a single search. Report information may include, but is not limited to; court-level felony and misdemeanor records, traffic records, Department of Corrections’ data, and information from state sex-offender registries.
Statewide Criminal Search
Statewide Criminal Searches provide online access to public criminal records from each state. Search results generally include felony, misdemeanor, and/or traffic-case information. Each state's case information will also vary based upon years of coverage.
County Criminal Search
This report provides criminal records held at the county level. Reports generally include felony and/or misdemeanor records. A county search is especially valuable when a more comprehensive or current database search is needed. Our single county search runs the last county your applicant has lived. Our unlimited county search runs all the counties that show up in your applicant's social security address history.
Inmate Records provide information from each state's Department of Corrections. Reports can include information on an individual's probation or parole and give active or inactive status within a state facility. Information in reports will vary depending on the state.
Arrest Records are available in some states. This information can help determine if you should run a criminal search for a single county. Note: Hiring decisions should not be based solely on arrest records.
A terrorist database search helps you meet federal OFAC identification requirements. The search includes data from the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the U.S. Department of the Treasury. This search helps ensure you don't enter into transactions with a person or organization involved in terrorism, international narcotics trafficking, or activities related to the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.
